We also have two visiting specialists who carry out specialized surgeries in our own operating theatre.
Dr. Ivor Sandler BVSc.
Doctor Ivor's passion for pets started early. Growing up in South Africa gave him access to a menagerie of unique pets and animals.
Ivor fulfilled his passion by qualifying as a vet in 1982. Various assistantships gave him the skills and expertise to open his first vet clinic in Cheltondale, Johannesburg, later moving to Yeoville. Yeoville was a vibrant community, much like paddington. This veterinary hospital grew into a very successful veterinary Hospital.
Ivor moved to Sydney with his family in 1992. Soon after arriving he started Citivet Mobile Veterinary
Service. While operating this he also worked at various veterinary hospitals in Sydney.
He opened Manly Veterinary Clinic in 1995. This practice also grew into a very successful vet hospital.
Doctor Ivor has more than 30 years of all round veterinary experience. His special interests lie in surgery, having performed thousands, including complicated orthopedics and joint surgeries. His other special interest is dog behavior.
At Citivet, Ivor and his team carry out daily consults, dog & cat vaccinations, Dog Dentals & Cat dentals, Desexing, Xrays, and much more.
Ivor's dedication as a vet is paramount
